Common Features
Massey Ferguson offers a wide variety of tractors in all shapes and sizes, but there are a few things they all have in common. First, each and every model is built for heavy-duty application, utilizing:
- Cast steel rear ends.
- Cast front axles.
- Four-wheel drive.
- High-capacity hydraulics.
These features ensure you can get the job done, whatever and wherever it is. The rugged build also makes them compatible with a staggering array of implements and attachments to give you access to any tool you could need.
Sub-Compact Tractors
The smallest machines in the Massey Ferguson® lineup are the GC1700 series of sub-compact tractors. They still have more than enough power to tackle just about any job, utilizing the largest engines in their class and pumping out between 22.5 to 24 PTO horsepower. A lift capacity of 1,191 lbs helps them carry the cargo or implements you need, and the small size ensures you can afford, control, and maneuver these machines easily.
Compact Tractors
Naturally, there are some jobs that will be too tough for a sub-compact tractor, but which still require some agility. Massey Ferguson® compact tractors manage to bridge that gap. The 1500 series provides 24.8 hp while the 1800 E provides between 24-38 hp. The premium 1800 M compact tractor packs a serious 36.2-39.4 hp.
The heavy-hitters of Massey Ferguson’s compact tractors, the 2800 series means business. 2800 E models put out between 48.8-57.3 hp and have a lift capacity of 2,425 lbs, while the 2800 M pumps out between 48.8-60.3 hp and packs a whopping 3,086 lb lift capacity.
Utility Tractors
The largest workhorses of the Massey Ferguson® tractor family, utility tractors are hulking machines built to tackle any and every job. They have an incredible variety in power output and lift capacity, ensuring you get exactly what you need. The 2700 E, 2600 H, 4700, 5700, 6700, 7700, and 8700 series wield between 49-405 hp and boast lift capacities between 2,425-26,355 lbs.
